Washington: Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf has said that the United States' restrictions on unnecessary travel across its borders with Canada and Mexico will be extended by another month due to Kovid-19 disease.

"Based on the success of existing restrictions and close cooperation with Mexico and Canada, we will continue to limit non-essential land travel in our inland ports with Canada and Mexico until August 20," he wrote.

"Working closely with our neighbors has allowed us to respond to COVID 19 in a North American way and reduce the spread of travel-related viruses," he added. By: Chhouk Bora
