Phnom Penh: On April 13, the Ministry of Health announced the discovery of 181 more 19 positive Kovidi virus patients as they recovered. The death toll from the deadly disease has risen to 40.
Of the 181 cases of Kovid, three were from abroad, one from the United States, according to the Ministry of Health. An Indian and a worker from Thailand.
The other 178 cases were transmitted during the community event on February 20, including 140 in Phnom Penh, 14 in Svay Rieng, 8 in Sihanoukville, 6 in Prey Veng and 3 in Kandal. 1 in Kratie, 1 in Preah Vihear, 4 in Siem Reap and 1 in Takeo.
As of April 13, there were a total of 4,696 cases of 19 cases of Kovid, 2,252 of which were cured and 2,406 were being treated. A total of 33 people were killed.
