The boxing arena, massage parlors, cinemas, convention centers and training schools are among the medium-risk businesses and activities that are expected to be reopened for the third phase of the Covid-19 virus outbreak. Next month, however, pubs, bars and nightclubs will remain closed.

Tanarak Plipat, deputy director-general of the Department of Disease Control, said on Sunday that activities and businesses carry a moderate risk of Covid-19 transmission. Or the so-called "yellow" category is expected to be allowed to reopen next phase of mitigation.

Dr Tanarak added: "The Center for the Administration of the Covid-19 situation is expected to be announced by Wednesday or Thursday." Update: October
