The Swedish government has vowed to continue providing financial assistance for the implementation of many development projects in Cambodia. This was confirmed by Aun Porn Moniroth, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance, at the meeting with Bjorn HAggark, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Cambodia on January 30, 2020.
The Swedish government has continued to provide grants for development projects in Cambodia, mostly through the United Nations and the European Union, he said.
He said the fruitful relationship and cooperation between the two countries has been continuously strengthened and brought mutual benefits to both countries.
On that occasion, Bjorn Hlqgmark praised the Ministry of Economy, which earns a large amount of state revenue and increases year-on-year as it achieves significant and sustainable economic growth.
He said Sweden's investment in Cambodia is currently small, but the two countries have the potential to boost trade and investment cooperation by strengthening bilateral cooperation and enhancing dialogue. By: Tylott
