SEOUL: South Korea said Friday it plans to import 53 tonnes of anti-mosquito enamel by June to keep its supplies clean after the spread of the new coronavirus.

According to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the first 2.5 tonnes of masks will arrive in the country next week.

The country has shut down exports of protective masks as well as their equipment as their needs soared amid the cholera outbreak.

Starting last week, South Korea has been using a practical dietary system for protective masks, where people can only buy two masses a day from pharmacies. By: Chhouk Bora
