Phnom Penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen Kingdom of Cambodia Presides Over the Signing Ceremony of Official Exchange Assistance Grant of 34,138 Million Yen (approximately $ 310 million) to the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The signing ceremony will be held at 9 am on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at the Peace Palace where the exchange of letters will be sent. Signed by Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhon, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Mr. MIKAMI Masahiro, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia. 3 grant projects and loan projects 2 projects as follows:

* Performance Grant:
First, the project to expand the water supply system in Takhmao, worth 3.421 million yen (approximately $ 31 million)

Second, the mine clearance and mine clearance project worth 1 billion yen (approximately 9 million US dollars)

Third, a 300 million yen (US $ 2.7 million) economic and social development project.

* Concessional Loan:
1 – National Road No.5 Improvement Project (Phase 2 – Battambang and Serey Sophorn – Poipet) It was 17,702 million yen (about 161 million US dollars).

Second, the National Highway 5 Improvement Project Phase 3 (Prek Crab – Yeam), with a cost of 11,715 million yen (Approximately $ 106.5 million)

The Japanese Government grants and concessional loans will further promote the economic and social development of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the two nations. By: Kolab
