Islamabad: Pakistan has demanded India reduce its staff of Indian High Commission in Islamabad by 50% in profit-making hours following a similar decision by the Indian government.

Pakistan and India have been embroiled in a diplomatic dispute in recent days over what the two sides have claimed are harassment of senior commissioners in New Delhi and Islamabad.

The Indian Foreign Ministry in Islamabad has been summoned to show Pakistan's decision to reduce the staff of the Indian High Commission by 50 percent as a "reciprocal measure," the Foreign Ministry said.
