This change solves Edge's user problems with improved web access for Chromium because it doesn't match many pages. However, Microsoft's browser is different from Google in that it offers protection, tracking and other features such as collections that allow you to manipulate images and pages.
Microsoft notes that Edge users can now easily import everything to a new browser, but those who use Chrome will have to transfer their data manually. According to StatCounter, Chrome holds 64% of the global Internet market share, while Edge has only 2%.
