US Defense Secretary Mark Esper says he is confident about US military readiness in South Korea following the outbreak of the Kov-19 virus.

Speaking with the Baker Institute, he praised General Robert Abrms, the commander of the United States Army in South Korea, for maintaining the level of military readiness.

Referring to the official name of the Republic of Korea, "So I can say with confidence that we are safeguarding the readiness to fight tonight that we need to be on the peninsula with allies of the Republic of Korea." By Chhouk Bora
