BEIJING – Italy has agreed to resume some flights with China after it suspended direct flights between the two countries last month, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said Friday.



Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Qinqing met with the ambassador on February 7, 2020, according to a statement on the ministry's website. Italian Ambassador to China Luca Ferrari on Thursday.

After the outbreak of the pneumonia virus, Italy's unilateral decision to suspend non-Chinese flights in the first place has caused severe disruption to travelers from both countries, Qin said. And two Chinese people are still stuck in Italy.
