BEIJING – China provided about 23,000 tonnes of oil to North Korea last year amid global sanctions on the regime's supply of oil products, a UN report said Wednesday. .



According to a UN Security Council report published on its website, China provided 22,739 tonnes of oil products to the DPRK last year.

China's monthly oil supply to the DPRK ranges from 478 tons to 3,117 tons, the report said. Corresponding figures for Russia, another major trading partner for North Korea, are unavailable. By: Chhouk Bora
