Phnom Penh: Samdech Chhum, the Acting Head of State of Cambodia, believes that Timor Leste will strive to promote greater trade, economic, investment and tourism exchanges for the benefit of both countries.

During his meeting with Ermenegildo "Kupa" Lopes, the Ambassador of Timor Leste to Cambodia on 15 April 2020, Say Chhum highly appreciated the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The ambassador is confident that "the ambassador will work hard to broaden the friendship, cooperation and push for greater trade, economic, investment and tourism for the benefit of both countries."

In addition, the Acting Head of State looks forward to growing relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Timor-Leste. The head of state said that this good relationship was achieved by exchanging visits to senior officials of the two countries' governments and supported each other in international cooperation frameworks, especially within the UN framework.

Ermenegildo "Kupa" Lopes expressed his delight at the good relations and cooperation between the two governments. He also appreciated Cambodia's progress and progress.
