NEW YORK (Reuters) – A magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook northern Indonesia on Friday, according to the official Xinhua news agency.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said a magnitude 5.7 earthquake 151 km north of Ruteng, Indonesia, at 11:33 p.m. Tuesday.
The quake had a depth of 599.3 km. Preliminary estimates show that there are 7.2439 degrees of latitude in the south and 120.4496 degrees of longitude in the east.
It is unknown at this time what caused the injuries or property damage.
